Agrocruz offers project coordination consulting services specializing in sustainability and conservation, as well as  and sustainable partnership development for forward looking growers, farms and agribusiness companies. We contract with customers for long-term strategic program development and coordination or on a per project basis.  We are also able  to audit and advise our customers on measures to improve the robustness and economic viability of their existing conservation and sustainability plans.  The end result that we provide is a well planned and comprehensive approach to conservation and sustainability within agribusiness operations.

Founded by its lead consultant Jason Varni, Agrocruz brings to bear a vast wealth of knowledge developed over 20 years of his having  worked in the areas of Innovation, Natural Systems, Technical Systems, Interpretation, Ecological, Hydrologic, and Biological systems creation, restoration and optimization. Jason is a University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) graduate where he earned his degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Environmental Interpretation and Restoration Ecology.

Jason’s undergraduate and post graduation coursework included: Geology, Hydrology, Wetlands Delineation, Restoration and Management, Biology, Ecology, Natural History, Conservation Biology, AgroEcology, Entomology, Genetics, Statistics, Physics, Greenhouse Management, Propagation, Agricultural Production, Business, and Economics. While attending UCSC he began apprenticing as an engineer and has developed engineering expertise throughout his career. He has a diverse history of working with innovative companies that have applied leading edge technologies and methods to successfully overcome a variety of complex challenges.
